Picture Day!

Partner Reading

We have been working on reading with partners.  We've learned to take turns on the same page, alternate pages, and to choral read.
In this video we are practicing during our mini-lesson before the kiddos head to their reading centers.

Music Center

We opened the Music Center today, and it was a big hit!

Dreambox

It was an exciting day in our classroom today!  We started Dreambox!  Everyone is very excited to begin.  I sent a letter with each child today explaining how it can be accessed at home.  Remember that this program is designed to meet your child's individual mathematical needs.  Please do not provide too much assistance as it will then create problems that are too difficult for your child to master! 

Happy Labor Day!

I hope everyone had a WONDERFUL weekend!  It was nice to have an extra day to relax with family.  We enjoyed an outing to Greek Fest!  (Bennett really liked the food!:))
