Where the Wild Things Are

We have been studying Emergent Storybooks in Reader's Workshop.  We are reading the book Where the Wild Things Are. This week our focus has been on sounding and acting like the characters by matching our voices, faces, and bodies to those in the book.  We have some pretty fierce Wild Things!  We are in the process of creating props to act out our book.  Check back for the finished version of Max's boat in the near future! :)
